Certain towns and cities have received the Gospel better than others, as observed by the author during evangelistic visits in West Yorkshire. The reception of the Gospel depends on the reaction of the people, and sometimes towns with a history of openness to the message of Jesus Christ continue to exhibit receptivity. However, receptivity can change over time, and towns that were once open can become iniquitous. It is important to pray for and bind up the influences of the enemy when sharing the gospel, and to recognize the need for preachers sent by God to bring the message of salvation.
