Dear ones,
We hope you are well and we pray for you all in our biweekly prayer vigil time.
Jenny had a paid trip to Australia from may 24th to june 11th which included 4 and a bit days of travel, funded by my older sister and her husband as an 80th birthday gift for my sister. We had not seen each other for many years. Neither had I seen her eldest daughter also who is my Goddaughter and my sister’s other adult children for at least 10 years. The big birthday celebration is in October, but I felt an urgency to visit her now..she is in delicate health..and for sure this will be my last opportunity to see her!
It was a fruitful trip. My sister and I relived our childhood days together, looking at photos and digging into our memories.. A nephew received salvation. I was able to share some insights with my sister’s grandchildren..all young adults…as well as with some individuals I met and in the airports I travelled through. They were certainly Divine setups.
Gonzalo remained holding fort. His 80th birthday is next year…
after a few days recovering I am getting back in the saddle again! It was a little culture readjustment as I travelled once again in the crowded buses here in Ecuador and digging in our pockets for change to give to the many needy who entered the public transport as well as sat in the streets to beg for help, Venezuelan immigrants, students trying to gather funds for their study needs, and sad of all, the lame, the blind the deaf and the dumb ….it can be quite overwhelming….at times we have the opportunity to pray with some of them as well as give a donation.
There is no government help that these unfortunate ones can reach out for. They depend on the charitable gifts of the public..
As a result, Gonzalo and I need to be frugal with our living expenses so that we can share what we have. We thank you for your gifts which have been, and are, a great help in this..

The dear friend Silvia affiliated for many years to our bible classes and who helps with her widow’s mite towards our projects and shares our printed material with some church member friends she has who also distribute in the streets! Many hands make light work! She is a widow also and we knew her husband.
photos 8 and 9 :Gonzalo helps to lift up the head of her son who works with her..He has suffered some emotional blows and disappointments and Gonzalo is walking through these issues with him when he has contact.
We are beginning again to focus on our next printing project for distribution in mass around the universities, parks, shopping areas etc.
