Good News From Ecuador, July 2026. By Gonzalo and Jenny.

Dear ones, We pray this  news finds you well. There have been some very helpful talks and articles on how to biblically combat stress and anxiety.  Of course physical practices such as getting out in God’s creation, getting quiet, exercise, diet, avoiding much internet time etc is important. The remedies that Paul of the recommends are the solution for the soul:  such as

I Thessalonians 5:18
“In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” (https://calvarychapel.com/posts/in-everything-give-thanks-1-thessalonians-518/)

 and

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.

—Philippians 4:8

They have since passed away. They  came  to reach the unreached and violent tribe of the AUCAS  in the 1950’s. Here is the story of their lives and dedication….and losses..:.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ar8Ict2_5JM

Now to the photos:
1 and 2: children happy to receive the children’s pamphlets.
3: Gonzalo with the red cap in the distant in a crowd of shoppers giving out the tracts
4: To the gardeners in a local park
5: at the bus stop
6. 2 lads sat reading the tracts outside their business.
7) Gonzalo for a disabled young man and his mother after they had been to therapy. We were able to help them with a financial gift. These are long term friends who we met about 6 years ago. The young man had to have his legs amputated due to a circulatory problem and a couple of years later his father died from a brain tumour.  We visit when we can.
8) Jenny with a thankful mother of 2 receiving her activity book for her children. We are in the process of photocopying these booklets as the demand grows.
9) The bags are filled and ready to go out!
10) Some groceries gathered to help towards a collection of staples to be sent to Venezuela. The earthquake has left over 5000 killed and the infrastructure so very fragile. Ecuador has sent help.
11) Gonzalo and a Chinese street vender of Chinese snacks. We are able to use the little Chinese we remember!
12 and 13) I have been able to send Chinese bible based articles to the Chinese we have met.

We thank you from our hearts for your gifts and prayers which help us to help others in needy situations and to be a blessing to their souls.

We pray blessings upon you,

Gonzalo and Jenny
