Dear Ones,
We wish you all a happy and blessed Christmas. We attended Gonzalo’s family Christmas dinner. They are a huge family ( see photos and not all were present! ) Attention was paid to the children and games were played for them. Gonzalo, being the eldest living brother, of formerly 14, (now 9 living) gave a meaningful presentation speech, and prayed the salvation prayer with all.,
That same morning, we had assisted in an event for the children of prisoners which the head prison office held in a recreation park, up in the mountains. It was very meaningful with a very lung filled animator who directed the games as well as police doing a puppet show and magic show.. We were impressed with the wholeheartedness of those organising the event. We had donated children’s activity magazines with crayons added. We have been and still are making visits to families before Christmas to give small gifts and to minister…The small gifts..cookies and other little things that the dollar stretches to! We include the 8 guards and the 6 workmen of the grounds we live in and we now have to think of something for the administration who are 4, including the president of the compound!..( quite a government in itself here !!). They all do an excellent job in serving the many who live here in this huge compound..almost a neighborhood!
Thank you all so much for your prayers and gifts which has made all this possible for soooo very long. It is encouraging to us that The Lord keeps supplying and so is expecting us to keep on keeping on!
