Dear Ones,
I saw this quote the other day..it helped me to just keep declaring God is Good! We have our aches and pains and we could get into a self pity party. HA! But this paragraph is a real reminder to keep our mind, tongue and heart on the truth. GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME! In 1 Corinthians 13 v 10 it says He will not give us more than we can bear….
God Is Good
Even when you’re going through your worst
season.God is good. He knew the only way
you would seek and trust Him was by
placing you in a situation where you had no
choice but to turn to Him. No matter what
life throws at you, He is teaching you to have faith.
No Matter how dark it gets, remember
He will always be by your side. Through His
faithfulness and grace, He will lead you into
a brighter season. Remember, God is good.
Have faith.

Our activities: We are beginning to go to the marginalised neighborhoods up in the mountains ( varying from 3100 metres to 3500 metres in altitude; fortunately there are buses that go up and down to these neighborhoods)..with our RESCUING VALUES Project, using the literature on various topics, giving them out to students when they leave and enter school as well as to parents.
These neighborhoods are where there is a lot of delinquency. It has been noticeable to us that when these somewhat tough looking youths look at the booklets illustrated in what some might describe as rather infantile art, their tough faces soften , and we see the child in them once again..
We joke with them, chat a bit, and Gonzalo has led a few to the Lord. We would appreciate your prayers for transformation in these neighborhoods. These areas are where the young begin their career in crime and then onto prison..
Additional prayer please for the older sister of Gonzalo, Magda, with whom we spend time as caretakers some days of the month. She is now in hospital once again with failing lungs. Gonzalo has already 5 siblings who have passed on, some older some younger. Your prayers for Gonzalo also as well as I as I uphold him during these difficult times, thank you.
