Good News From Ecuador. Mid March To Mid May 2025

Dear loved ones,

We pray you are all well.  First we wish to thank you for your loving support in prayers and gifts with which we are then able to continue with our outreach, printing of booklets and tracts as well as covering living costs. The photos are described below:

1, 2 and 3 are of Gonzalo distributing to the throngs in a busy downtown shopping walking street. It is near the presidential palace so we often get to give gospel tracts to the security team and police. (Photo 3 is with plain clothed security guys. I can never fathom how they think the plain clothes hide their role…we spot them a mile off….they are the only ones in suits and hearing aids! HA!)

4.. is of Gonzalo who gave a donation to and prayed the salvation with this needy young man asking for donations at the traffic lights….sooo many of these folks here..

5 Gonzalo talking with then the salvation prayer with this young lady who is the coordinator in the prison head office in the capitol, so young, yet with such a responsibility.

6 and 7 are of the purchase and delivery of articles for personal hygiene which the prison office asked help for. Thanks to a sponsor we were able to purchase these articles.

8,9,10, are photos of the delivery of the articles to a prison in the coastal region which is being hit with tuberculosis. There are 7,000 inmates. Our help seems to be a drop in the ocean.

Photos 11,12,13,14 are the girls in the Prison office packing up the purchases in individual transparent (for security) bags before sending them on to the coastal prison in Guayaquil. They include the tracts.

Thank you for your help. We especially need your prayers for continued strength, health, protection and provision.

We now have an extra responsibility which is taking turns in the care of Gonzalo’s ailing sister who has Alzheimer’s and many other afflictions. We pray for her and read scriptures to her to which she ardently listens and we try to  help with communication and her memory as well as with her food and liquid intake. She recently has been hospitalized twice. Once with pneumonia and then with a dislocated femur due to a fall.

Thank you once again

Love Gonzalo and Jenny
